Approaching Women can be one of the most nerve-racking things a guy can do. Men are faced with a very unique challenge in the dating game that many women underestimate just how gut-wrenching it can be. Most men wonder if they are saying the right things and making a good first impression.
Just coming up with an opening line has been the subjects of countless books and home study courses. Using an obvious line makes you look like a dork. Not using one at all makes you seem boring. So men have been searching for unique ways of approaching women for a very long time.
Some pick up artists recommend using scripted stories, asking for opinions, offering slightly disguised insults called “negs” and other guys just recommending walking up to a girl and asking her name.
But a truly hot girl is going to have had men approach her all the time, many using the same tired lines. If they’re not using a field-tested line and just being natural, and the guy isn’t attractive by classic standards, he’s probably going to end up just being friends.
One alternative that has been very controversial is the use of magic tricks to pick up girls. Use them wrong, you look like a dork. Do it well, you end up going home with the girl.
Magic tricks can be extremely effective though, just as Mystery, the Pick Up Artist from Neil Strauss’s book “The Game” and VH1 The Pickup Artist reality show. He’s been using magic with his other techniques for years.
It’s not wise to approach a girl however and say “wanna see a trick.” It has to be done much more smoothly than that. In fact, the tricks you do are equally important.
