If you’re a typical guy, even a good-looking typical guy, you have problems approaching women. Some guys don’t have this problem and seem to have a natural ability to talk to women, but some guys are not most guys. And this is normal because women kind of go out of their way to make it hard for guys who are attracted to them to approach them. Perhaps it’s out of ignorance on their part, or perhaps it’s subconsciously (or consciously) part of the games that females play. As the French say, “l’homme propose, mais la femme dispose.” So in order for you to get a girl, you have to be more interesting than the other guys who are (just as obviously as you are) admiring her redeeming features–most of which, at least at first, have to do with her anatomy and the ways in which she’s showing it off. It’s that simple.
You have to be the intriguing one to attract girls, the one who sparks her curiosity, the one who somehow shows higher intelligence or some kind of higher value than the average guy in order to get the girl that you’re salivating to meet. Now the average guy, by definition, just doesn’t have something that sets him apart that way. Even if you’re good-looking, with women that will get you only so far, because while they do like good looks they aren’t as enchanted by them as we are by theirs. You have to have something outstanding that can grab and hold her attention–but without being too overt (women are easily spooked by approaching men). For a lot of guys, this outstanding feature can be bar magic tricks.
Bar magic tricks allow you to have a good reason to talk to a gal, even if she’s doing the typical gals-in-a-crowd off-puttish thing. You can approach her and all of her friends with a bar magic trick. You get to be entertaining, you get to be mysterious, and if things go right with your first trick or two you even get to touch her physically and break that ice–and all without having to dance!
Bar magic tricks can also be a perfect way to do what is the unthinkable for the average guy–pick up the super-hot barmaid. Somehow, bars know how to hire the hottest gals to work the bar, and those gals are constantly being talked to, flirted with, and hit on–and all while they’re working. You have to be major different to interest these particular gals, and bar magic tricks are perfect for accomplishing that.
You have to be careful if you’re going to use bar magic tricks to pick up a gal. The last thing that you want is to turn into the magic clown. Lots of guys who attempt magic to impress do just that, unfortunately. Your approach has to be smooth and semi-casual, even somewhat professional. Be low-key and understated.

There is no one best bar magic trick. Just master a handful of magic tricks that you enjoy doing and that you know will be entertaining.
One of the best strategies for using bar magic tricks to attract girls is to start off with a trick that doesn’t require any touching of the gal at all. If she is smiling and dazzled after one or two of these, then you can progress to where you have to pull the gold coins out of her hair or get her to hold your hand for some reason. Remember to start off mildly with your bar magic tricks, then add the hot sauce later!
